Institute of Employability Professionals

The IEP is the international membership body for employability professionals, the people who support others gain work, progress in work and retain work.

Established in 2011 in the UK, the IEP operates in the Republic of Ireland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, and Australia as well as working alongside partners in Canada and The Netherlands.

Our members are dedicated to improving the lives of people who are most disadvantaged in society, such as those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health disability, financial or those facing other challenges such as ex-offenders and homelessness. They do this by equipping people with the skills, knowledge and resources that they need to improve their employability opportunities that will lead them into fulfilling jobs or self-employment.

You can watch our video here that helps to explain the developmental journey of both an employability professional and an individual who needs our help.

Our vision is 'Employability professionals everywhere are the best they can be' - you can read our full vision and mission statement here and our Values Statement here

Our purpose is to provide and advance education in Employability Sectors globally, empowering individuals to perform to a professional standard, championing employability as a recognised profession, securing employer recognition and creating a network of opportunity.
