NG Bailey are currently seeking an Early Careers & Compliance Officer to support the Apprenticeship (early careers) Learning and Development department in the management administration, co-ordination and promotion of the NG Bailey Apprenticeship Programme and other related pathways.
This is a full time permanent position based in our Leeds office but supporting the department nationally, the role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead on co-ordination of learner registration, progress monitoring, certification activity, and internal/external meetings.
Attend training provider meetings, support the Apprenticeship Development Partners to minute the meetings and manage action logs to support overall performance management.
Responsible for managing the apprenticeship email inbox.
Co-ordinate and support national / regional early career initiatives such as work experience, T-levels and further additional learning activities for early careers including Graduates.
Co-ordinate apprentice training and development activities and key apprenticeship events, ensuring apprentices and Apprenticeship Development Partners are kept fully informed of arrangements made/changes to pre-planned schedules. Leading on the administration requirements for the department such as train bookings for apprentices attending college.
Monitor apprenticeship performance reporting including but not limited to attendance, satisfaction surveys and e-portfolio progress. With full responsibility for register reporting to internal stakeholders.
Analyses and update management information systems and reports to support early careers and skill programmes.
Accurately and effectively record and maintain the data held in the Apprentice SharePoint site, Digital Apprenticeship Service and HR management systems and, as appropriate, provide data to partner college/training providers. Work closely with the Apprenticeship and Data Compliance Partner and college/ training providers to ensure apprentice records are up to date.
Responsible for document control and annual document updates of early careers documents.
Establish strong partnerships with colleges/training providers and build a reputation as a reliable point of contact. Provide appropriate information, advice and guidance to employees/managers enquiring about apprenticeship programmes which can support training and development opportunities. Ensure an excellent level of customer service.
Support the Apprenticeship Development Partners in promoting the department and the service it offers to the business. Actively promote the programme externally attending engagement events and identifying opportunities to build the programme brand.
Co-ordinate, support and attend key apprentice programme related events. Develop presentation skills to support delivery of internal and external events and management of attendees.
Ideal applicants will excellent internal customer managements skills and have prior experience coordinating apprenticeship programs and working with further education/training providers and building lasting working relationships. Having strong understanding of compliance funding (ESFA), Ofsted Safeguarding, End Point Assessments (EPA) and have managed Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) would also be very beneficial.
